For many men who experienced sexual abuse as boys, the belief that somehow it was their fault can remain buried for years. But when those stories are finally spoken in safe community, the lies they have carried can begin to lose their power and healing can begin.

For survivors of childhood sexual abuse, there may be places within the soul we have learned not to visit—memories, questions, shame, anger, or pain we have carried quietly for years. Healing can begin when we stop hiding those places and bring them honestly before God.

Forgiveness after sexual abuse does not mean forgetting, minimizing what happened, or removing healthy boundaries. It is a process of releasing what we were never meant to carry and trusting God with justice as He continues to heal our hearts.
