prevention is possible campaign
the data is clear
Sexual abuse affects girls and boys everywhere. For far too long it has been a silent epidemic. That silence has allowed abuse against children to perpetuate. However, there is hope. Recently, there has been more awareness brought to the topic of sexual abuse, but despite this awaking scrounging it, there has been little conversation about solutions to help prevent sexual abuse, Trees of Hope intends to change that. By analyzing the best available research on existing strategies and identifying the most effective and promising solutions, we have created several resources for parents to help them in the fight to prevent sexual abuse in childhood and adolescence.
Evidence shows that sexual abuse can — and must — be prevented. Now it’s on us to bring these solutions to pass. Together, we can create a safer world for every child.
We desire to see every child saved from sexual abuse. With this free resource, we encourage you to order a copy today for yourself and anyone you know with children. This magazine will teach you practical ways to talk to your child about sexual abuse, to address what's appropriate sexual behavior and what is inappropriate, and how to speak up if abuse has already taken place.
We are going virtual! We may be physically separated but we can still train adults on how to prevent sexual abuse from happening! The following are the dates for our Virtual Prevention Workshops: June 13 and September 12.
This Virtual Prevention Workshop offers an online educational training where parents, teachers, or anyone who desires to protect the vulnerable can virtually discover the truth about sexual abuse and how to better protect the ones they love. This training is $25, includes a copy of the Rise Magazine
